The boardwalk, in addition to the incomparable setting in which it is situated, has other attractions for the strollers:
The Tourist Monument: this piece of art by the sculptor Rosa Serra, is located on the boardwalk in front of the Salatar beach. It represents two tourists of normal height, a symbol dedicated to the tourists who come and visit the town by the people of Roses.
The Monument to the Fishermen: it is located on the Rhode avenue, right opposite the tourist office. This monument made of leaded glass is crowned by the sculpture of the same name. It was constructed in 1990 by the sculptor Domènec Fita and dedicated to all the sea folks.
Washingtonian Palm tree and Tamarisk: one rises up projecting up among the other date palms and is located right behind the Fishermen Monument, while the other is inside a house on the boardwalk facing the Rastrell beach.
Roman anchor: facing the Catalonia Square (Plaza de Cataluña), we find this Roman anchor with its original lead stock. It was restored during the winter of 1998-99.
Artillery cannons: right on the Roses beach, passed the Ginjolars stream, we find these two pieces of naval artillery dating from the 18th century and found by Mr Francesc Falcó.
Brass in tribute to the writer Josep Pla: is located right between the two artillery cannons facing Roses' main beach. We can read on it some words inscribed by the writer in praise of Roses' sunsets.
Esperança anchor: facing the Perola beach and under the shade of the palm trees we can see this anchor covered in plant fiber, cast into the sea before 1820. It was discovered by the Roses boat Pepito.
Roses bay Monument: located at Carrer Nou number 1. Made in 1990 by the local artists Narcís Costa (sculptor) and Martí Vesgoñós (painter). It depicts a panoramic view of the Roses bay with a North-wind sky.
