A medieval town 9 kilometers from Roses. Places to visit: the Santa Maria gothic cathedral (XIVth c.), the Parish museum, the Counts Palace (current town hall), the Santa Clara Convent (XIth c.), the Flour museum (flour mill), the medieval prison (XIVth c.), and the Grand House (XIVth c.).

Figueres
18 kilometers from Roses. Main city of the Alt Empordà region and an important commercial center. Peralada
