Roses fish "suquet" all year long

Roses' patrimonial richness can also be tasted in your plate. Dynamic just like its town, the local gastronomy has known a whole lot of changes and evolution.

The traditional fisherman art of the village has created a recipe based on a mix of fresh products. On the boats, coves and homes it used to be tradition to cook the "Suquet", an easy meal made with fresh fish and potatoes basically.

With time passing, this home-made recipe evolved by adding new Mediterranean products thus creating new versions of this fisherman's recipe.

The restaurants members of the "Roses Fish Suquet" campaign present various forms of sampling this traditional fisherman's dish, as well as offering a wide range of local wines (D.O . Empordà.)

This symbiosis of land and sea contributes to adding an other value to the Costa Brava, making it simply a divine place to be.
